  • 820-2327 fan spinning, no chime

    Hello!

An old board this 820-2327, I know, but I'm still practicing...

Fan spins for 11 secs, stops for a second and then spins endlessly. I get light by plugging a USB mouse. PPCPUVTT_S0 is 1.06V.
    PPVCORE_S0_MCP_REG is 1.08V and SMC_MCP_CORE_ISENSE is 0.20V.

    What should I measure next?

No image on the LCD with flashlight. No image over DisplayPort. I touch the laser under the mouse and every time the red light goes brighter...

Does it chime? Speaker in the case (4 pin) needs to be connected. Any history on this board? Liquid?

No chime. Bought the macbook cheap on ebay. Removed the speaker that is glued to the logic board and it revealed some mild corrosion here and there. The rest of the board is clean.

Inspect closer for liquid, but the fact that it turns on then off and then on again is worrying. This usually happens when there is no CPU Vcore or when the MCP is dead.
