820-3437 vp0r, ppbus 8.44v

Hi.

Liquid damaged board.
Did not power
Repaired corrosion around Q8510, U1950.
Now powers.

ASD reports VP0R below low limit.

Charger plugged PPBUS is 8.44V

I unplugged the charger and ran ASD again and it's not reporting error but PPBUS is 7.7V

What's going on here?

Is this machine recognizing and charging the battery?

Yeah it knows the charger is there and it runs off the battery.
Stays powered with PPBUS at 7.7V which I have tested with 3 different meters. It's running fine but I really don't like to send it out like this.
I did not think it could even turn on at this voltage but it does.... I can take a picture!

You didn't answer my question. With PPBUS at 8.4 I bet the data bus from SMC is not ok. So again, does it recognize the battery in OSX?

Yes, in OS X
it knows the battery is there
it knows the charger is there
it charges the battery
