Determine if PP3V42_G3H is present on U6901.

Can i please get a real response.. c6905 reads OL so does fuse.. on diode and when i have charger plugged in im getting .658 v

Diode mode measurements are the same as measuring resistance. You CANNOT have a charger plugged in when you are measuring a voltage drop!! STOP!!!

Are u sure your MM show you V?
You should see something like Ω or K or M

What it says is... on diode mode i get OL on c6905 and when i check for voltage at that same point with charger plugged in i get .658v I typed really fast i thought you would understand since it was a voltage reading and not a resistance reading but i can see the misunderstanding... either way. The whole caps thing is out of line... i know not to have charger plugged in when on diode mode thx!

Do you have 16v coming to the input of the circuit at R7020?

I put 5v on pp3v42 via psu and smc burned to a crisp i cannot replace smc... no setencil or time...close thread...
