Hi there,
I got this macbook with liquid damage around the eDP connector.
Changed the connector and got backlight.
The problem is that I get the circle with slash the prohibitory symbol everytime during the boot.
I never get the Apple symbol.
I tried El Capitan and the new Sierra OS. I got the same result.
These are on my test external HD.
I tried my SSD with El Capitan and got the same problem so this is
not the USB ports problem.
I tried to tun ASD 3S162 but it says it's not compatible.
This should be a Late 2013 macbook.
I don't have the ASD 3S159 but I never had a problem
with the newer 3S162. I'm only using the EFI versions.
WTF could this be? Someone maybe messed with the BIOS?
I checked the board for corrosion but only I found was around the eDP connector.
Thanks.
