[SOLVED]820-2330 - couple time a week, show weird colour on internal display.

showing on external monitor is fine. only happen on internal display couple time a week..
i've tried two good known working display and same result.

it seems pure white colour has changed to blue.


ASD EFi and OS passed all graphic tests.


what do i need to check? LVDS Transmitter Termination problem ?

Could be LCD cable or the MUX (u9600). Press on U9600 and see if the problem goes away. Either reflow u9600 or reball.

it seems to be the lcd cable. just tried a bare lcd screen and it is working fine. so know working screen has bad cable. problem solved.

Just make sure to poke at U9600 and see if it does not happen again. A bad LCD connector can also cause this, so check again before ripping the assembly apart.
