  • Random Trackpad on MacBook

I have been hearing of more and more issues with Macbook Pro 13 2012/13 and random trackpad movements, tried cleaning and PRAM reset, no luck.

Has anyone heard of this being HW level issue?

No liquid damage to my knowledge.

    Thanks

this is always one of three things

    1) liquid on the trackpad.

    2) customer palm touching the trackpad.

    3) customer has bluetooth mouse in their backpack moving around, that is paired to the computer so it ONLY fucks up when they are in the store.

my guess is 1. This is never a board level issue.

Shitty Chinese chargers will also fuck with the trackpad. Only when connected of course to AC.
