820-3476 small liquid damage

literally a drop on Q7311, cleaned was powering fans on and USB, USB would turn off after maybe 7 seconds and no activity
assumed Q7311 shorted dead and no CPU (should have measured)
so I replaced Q7311 (donor 820-4924 board), still same behavior
i then tried Q7311, Q7310 and U7310
now no fan and usb flashes real quick off

did I fry it and make it worse?

You fucked up something. But with liquid in that location a dead CPU is very likely. Redo what you did and see if it goes back to the original state of 7 seconds on.

when i put U7310 back i get the old behavior, fan+usb turning on and off at least 2 times (is that normal like the 2013+ airs?)
it seems the chip is a little smaller than on the 4924 boards, maybe not fitting right?
looks like some liquid and corrosion did get under Q7310 but only on the pin5 side
