2010 15" white/black screen

Computer starts with logo but eventually screen goes white or black (depending on it being warm or not). Is it worth trying to reflow the mux (and tant cap) or is this likely a GPU problem? All help is welcome

First replace C9650 and only if this a 820-2850. This is no MUX issue for sure.
