mbp retina 2013 ram upgrade

One of my friends has the first mbp 13" with only 4gb of ram (I didn't believe they even made it until i looked it up). Does anyone know what and where i could get ram chips and stencil for 16gb? also how hard is it to do?

Nope, not worth the trouble (and that's assuming you could even get it to work properly--probably not). Just tell your friend to sell his board and buy the one he wants.

NO NO NO NO NEVER! Also 4GB and 8GB boards are different. 820-3476 vs. 820-3536. Just no!

also if you would check rewa tech on youtube they just made a movie about ram replacement.
also need to do bios, and something more cant remember from my mind....

also chips cant be swaped. they are Always paired
so 1 set +bios same board...
