        Surround U8900 in flux, use a micropencil and fresh solder to resolder all of the pins. Then use a little bit of hot air to reflow the surrounding area.

          So it's likely the U8900 thing... Went to re-read the sticky but it was gone.

            I've touched up U8900 and reflowed everything in the area.
            Not getting any panic running Furmark now. Ran it until the machine got hotter than I'm comfortable with.

            I think it's solved.

              U8900 has nothing to do with temperature. The crashes happen when the machine is flexed, bumped, etc.

                I know it's nothng to do with temprature. Ran FurMark to switch to GFX to see if switching caused a KP.
