Since I am at a loss with the 2936 not having backlight, I am wondering if the customer who replaced the screen, bought the wrong one. This is a 2011 2936, is there a difference between the 3115 screen? How about iterations of the same device (2011 v 2012 etc...). Also, do 3115 connectors work on the 2936? I cant seem to find any to source, using this phrase.

they all use the same LCD, 2012 uses a different LCD cable and different LCD cable with same pinout.
