[SOLVED]820-3115 - no green light after charged to 100%

liquid damaged i think,

initially.....laptop can start with battery, .laptop can start without battery, laptop can charge battery, laptop's can go orange while charging. laptop can go green without battery.
but after i charged the battery to 100%, the magsagfe's light stay orange and doesnt go green, and when i unplug then replug magsafe then show no light on charger.

now i get a very dimmed green light on charger with battery. i can't start with charger with no battery connected.

coconutbattery can see battery info but cant see power adapter info.


bad smc?


resistance on U7000 between pins 17-18 is 3.2ohms
and 27-28 is 20.1ohms

Resistance to GND on PPBUS is OL

mmm, corrosion on the magsafe board.

i;ll return to this thread when i have new magsafe boards instock.

yes it is

i've found a spare magsafe board on top of the microscope. i've compared resistances.

i found adapter sense pin has resistance to ground.


laptop is fixed.
