[SOLVED]A1502 820-4924 no backlight after minor liquid damage

Looking for a little help tracking down a no backlight issue on a a1502 Macbook Pro with 820-4924 board. The machine chimes and is booting up and displaying a picture as seen by putting a flashlight behind the apple logo.

Any help on what specifically to start looking at to trace this down would be much appreciated.

what voltage do you get on pin1 of j8300

This is absolutely nuts but it reads 51.5v once the laptop is turned on and chimes

It's not detecting a load, try a known good screen or check lvds cable/connector

Burned cable or connector. Could also be fried on the LCD side so you don't see if.

Just wanted to follow up with this. It turns out that the backlight was blown on the LCD side of things. Replaced and now working normally.
