[SOLVED]820-3209 - Randomly reboots around the chime with no battery

If I connect a known good battery I can get it to go past the chime but it doesn't sense the battery correctly.

When power is plugged in an no battery it keeps rebooting randomly.
With battery or battery and power it will make it to unlock screen, but;
When power is connected the battery reads 100%
Without power connected, battery reads correct percentage.
Battery status reports "Not Charging".


U7000::17/18 == MOhms.
U7000::27/28 == 20Ohms.

SMC_RESET_L is stable at 3.3v
PPBUS = 9.06v then drops to ~3v then back up.

From your measurements provided, looks like broken trace from U7000 pin 17/18.

Check your resistors between 17 and 18 sounds like one is blown should get 3 ohms between 17 and 18

Seems there was indeed a burnt trace. I ran a jumper and all is well.
