Liquid-damage. Replaced R5171 and the other bad-looking components in the SMC_LID area. Has 3.4V on SMC_LID now. PPBUS at 13V. No cycling on 5V_S4. I'm attaching some pre-ultrasonic cleaning pictures. I've checked and replaced everything in the corroded areas. Not sure where to go next.

    Check RTC signals first.
Post _SUS and _S5 voltages and signals from U7800.

      3V3_S5 is at 3.3V
      3V3_SUS is at 0V
      PM_SLP_SUS_L is at 0V

      PP3V0_G3H is at 3V

        "PM_SLP_SUS_L is at 0V"
That's the reason 3V3_SUS is missing.

        Check RTC signals for PCH.
        Does it get 32KHz?

        Is PM_BATLOW_L high?

          I don't have an oscilloscope but I'm measuring .56V on SYSCLK_CLK32K_PCH

          PPDCPRTC_PCH is at 1.1V

          PCH_SRTCRST_L is at 3V

          RTC_RESET_L is at 3V

          PM_BATLOW_L is at 3.3V

            "PPDCPRTC_PCH is at 1.1V"
Appears to be 3V from schematic.
            Check/change C1231.
If still the same, bad CPU..

            Check also PCH_INTRUDER_L.
