Board originally had mild water damage with quarter fan spin every few seconds. After replacing u7000 r7051 and r7502 it turns on but high fan spin.

Ran apple asd and all I get is SMC IO error. SMC area is spotless and never had any water damage.

Replace SMC to start or check something else?

Post the exact error message from ASD.
Does it report one error only?
Did you try known good trackpad and cable?

Also check AVREF_SMC voltage.

The error reffers to palm rest, Ts0P...
So you have problem with trackpad, its flex, or broken traces, bad connector.

Are you sure that is what the error is related to? Removed connector and traces look perfectly fine yet I am still getting fast fan spin

Ambient Light Sensor is also placed in the same bus.
But the error reffers only to palm rest; seems that ALS is correctly detected...
Check continuity for SCL/SDA lines from J5800.
Also check R5922/23.
