Hey,

working on 3115 board with no green light. No signals Liquid damage, board very clean!

PPBUS = 12.30V
PP3V42_G3H = 3.42V
PPVRTC_G3H = 3.4V
PP5V_S5 = 0.42V - No short 430v - Diode_mod
PP5V_SUS = 0V

already reflow SMC - no changes

already test with power supply on this board and consumes only 0.008A..

ideas?? TPS51125 problem?? i don't do anything on this board i need the right direction.

thank you

Already reballing SMC and replaced for a donor board!! Same history.. PPBus still 12.32V! Probably this SMC it's Bad!! there's something else I can do before I replace to another one??

thanks

PP3v3_S5 present? If so, check rails for shorts a common is PP5v_S3 audio caps which can cause the green light to have issues.

JohnB8812 touch on the spot!! i have a partial short on PP5v_S3!! Diode mode i have 139v ... i have one working board and i have 439v on the line!

i put 3v on this line and u7200 start to heat a little but i don't have others components heating!! i take off u7200 put the 3v and DC power don't consume (A)!

SMC_BC_ACOK - floating 2.9 - 3.4 V

any advice ?

1- SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC = 3.340V - 3.484 Floating https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ynHbGna1dnDmAm6pmcYCerOcK7DsGr9Z/view?usp=sharing

1- SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC = 3.340V - 3.484 Floating
2-1- SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC = 3.340V - 3.484 Floating
4- SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC = 3.490V
5- =PP3V42_G3H_ONEWIREPROT - 3.340V - 3.484 Floating

With my experience when the voltages are floating on this case i think i have a short problem in some line!

Already replaced magasafe for a new on.. Replace q7260 and q7261 and PP5v_S3 now i have 439v on diode mode! Compare with a working board it's same value! but the board not turnin on and no green light!! i will check all trails for shorts!! =(

All rails checked and not found any short's! As I was analyzing it was comparing with a working board and the values are similar (Diode mode)!

Already replace U7000, by discharge same result's! With fake charge i have green light 1-2 sec goes orange and then goes green but don't turn on.

already replace U2600, by discharge to same results. SYSCLK_CLK32K_RTC = 32khz !

i have P5VS3_EN_L = 3.2V but Still missing PP5V_S3 = 0V. When i plug and unplug the charger i have this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GwNbkgMwoZEEibQfBGgRF11jPQn_8Vm_/view?usp=sharing

this one I would like to repair because it is from a new client and I think it's worth it because the board is clean. Does not look bad or touch from another guy!

thanks

"i have P5VS3_EN_L = 3.2V"
In fact 5V_S3 is not enabled!
That "_L" means something; active low, you need 0V there...

Post voltages for U7941.
