the single usb-c port was water damaged, water did not go further inside, even the cable connecting to is not corroded, i replaced the usb connector, now everything works fine but the usb communication, its dis charging fine
when i connect a usb-c stick, which is very low consumption , i get a message that usb accessories disabled, unplug the accessory using too much power
i replaced that cable going from the port to th eboard anyway, same
i guess the only option i to replace the usb chip?
is it risky? board works already and customer is willing to accept it without usb communication for cheaper, is it worth the risk to push for it?
