820-2850 crashing with 8gb sticks?

This one passes asd with 2x4gb 2x2gb memory config. 4 passes no problem however single 8gb or 2x8gb always fail?
has this happened to anyone before?

That is old machine, I'm not sure if support 8GB per slot.
Also check with DDR3-8500.

it does work but on ASD it fails and also i get scrambled graphics.

If it works fine in the OS, I wouldn’t worry about it. If it crashes in the OS, must be a frequency or Max RAM issue

thats the weird part - ONLY on 8gb sticks. i have already replaced c9560. i would say gpu is braindead BUT on 4gb sticks NO issues? even after 4 runs in asd

Run Unigine Heaven on 4GB modules; give it time...
