  • cleaning a 820-00923 touchbar

I have a new Crest UC just ordered at the Rossman Store coming around Christmas time. I have read the basics of using it. Am I correct to assume I need to remove the heatsink? If so how do I go about doing it?

Yes remove heat sink and clean thermal paste off CPU. Usually 2 min both sides at 65 Celsius is good. Unless liquid under CPU then I usually go longer like 5 min around 85c

I feel dumb. Looking at the heatsink from above, I thought it looked soldered on. I see the screws on the bottom.

If I did my math right, I need just under 4 ounces per gallon to get it at 3%.

I don't have a fancy one, but basically just a gallon of distilled water and poor some Branson in it. I do a quick sift of it doesn't have to be a perfect measurement. Just don't dump a ton in it.
