820-2936 smc io

Have a 820-2936 that had mild water damage. Replaced everything that was affected, Now boots but with high fan speed. Ran ASD and all it says is SMC IO error but doesn't point to anything specific.

Is it best to start out by replacing SMC?

Post entire text messages for ASD errors.
Check if SMC_AVREF voltage is correct.

Not sure how, but board seems to fixed itself when i put it back in machine to run ASD, it now passes and no more high fan spin.

Dont know what SMC_AVREF is nothing shows up on board view or schematic when I search this.

AVREF_SMC will be highlighted searching on the boardview, I think.

You could have bad contact of some flex probably...
