820-3437 quick question about keyboard trackpad

Just want to double check something. Currently waiting for trackpad flex cable to be delivered next week as i've run out
Have a macbook here for liquid damage fixed everything it seems, was dead. but keyboard and trackpad doesn't work only afer boot. it works beforehand. that's the cable right?

Could be cable, trackpad, or keyboard. If cable was corroded, depends which end was corroded.

Before OSX (i.e. Boot Menu), trackpad/keyboard work through USB way.
Once logged into OSX, SPI communication is enabled.

Try first known good working trackpad board/flex.
If still not working into OSX, checl all traces and resistors SPI related.
Also check I/O signals for U4810.
