820-00165-A no green light boot up have fan spin after smc replace

hi
first of all i have green light and orange as well but macbook dont boot up then i pull out the battery its also same but when i plug out charger and plug in again it turn on then i turned off it never turn on with power button. when try to open up with button orange light turn green and orange again no boot up.
i try to change smc after smc changing now i have no light on macsafe and ppbus_g3h 8.17 volt but macbook boot up read ssd also but no light and when i try to close it with button it reset but no close

Did you take the SMC form donor board, same model?
If yes, try first to reflow SMC; gently tap it, to see it "dancing" a bit.
If no result, reball original SMC and test the board.

Yes MUST come from 00165 donor board. Sounds like another bad SMC to me. What do you get for diode mode on both of the SMBUS lines at R5380/1?

i took smc from aliexpress i think it is not programmed isnt it ?

New SMC chips are useless...

Yeah that chip is trash. Order a donor from aliexpress, pull the chip, reball it, and install it. Best to order 3 donors to make sure you get a good one
