820-00165-2 powers on wont boot to OS

liquid damage along the back edge of the motherboard.
computer powers on but wont boot to the os. progress bar reaches 100% and it will just hang.
some components broke of when i tried to clean the corrosion. r1690,1638 and c3285.
cleaning ME reign medusa gave me an error.
also got errors when trying to clear $SVS block.
medusa can read the rom with no errors but it doesnt seem to be able to write back.
medusa guy said that the error was due to the rom not getting enough power.
PP3V3_SUS is 3.3v
pin 8 on u6100 is 3.3v

I recommend to disconnect power from MacBook board when using Medusa.
Inject external 3.3V on 3V3_SUS rail instead.
I never got problems in this way.
I recommend you try complete new BIOS, known as good.
You can clean ME region with Medusa, when is charged in the SPI chip.
If you change SSN, remember to fix checksum after.

I dont have a power supply for injecting voltage.
Would there be anything else i can do to determine if its an issue with the rom chip itself before buying more equipment?
Would be be possible to tap into another 3.3v line on the board? or is that to risky.

If J6100 is corroded, you cannot read BIOS at all.
As you read it, that is not the problem.
This happened to me too and solved the problem using external power supply...
