820-00165 only works while the charger is plugged in if the Mac is on and the power cable is removed the Mac turns off right away.

R7005 and R7006 are both fine.

Post PPBUS_G3H voltage with both charger and battery connected.
Next post 3V42 and PPBUS_G3H with battery only.
Both sections of D7005 OK?

OSX recognizes battery, condition is good with only 44 charge cycles, the charger is charging with very low 0.69watts so the charge doesn't go up.

PPBUS_G3H 8.57v with charger and battery

PPBUS_G3H 8.56v with charger only​

PP3V42_G3H 3.42v PPBUS_G3H 7.82v with battery only​

Tried another battery? This sounds like a bad battery to me...

Very possible corrosion under battery connector OR that SYS_DETECT_L is off because of a blown R6950. Check that resistor first as well as corrosion near battery FPC. If both ok, likely bad battery.

Thanks, I was puzzled and did not even check the battery after checking the board, battery was original one with few charge cycles.

New battery fixed the problem.
