Hi there,

Got 820-00840-a and it starts normally untill user login screen. After putting password it becomes extremly slow and fans begins to spin high speed. Checked motherboard and there is nothing strange on it. No water damage, nothing. Also Power rails seems to be ok.

After AHT it says that the computer may have power managment issue. Anyone faced similar things? I suspect it may be trackpad or some flex but actualy dont have new one to check it.

Any idea?

Also try another OSX through USB-C; to discard a software issue.
AHT doesn't give you an error code too?

Run HWMonitor in the OS and see what sensor is failing

Seems to be airport Proximity (128 C) and mainboard proximity (128C too).

AHT says:

There may be an issue with the System Managment Controller (SMC). Ref: PFM006
There may be an issue with the power managment system: Ref: PPN001

Already checked U5800/10/70 and components near and seems to be ok.

P.S: U5800 is not present on the board but it is in PDF. Than how it read airport sensor ?

Airport proximity is fine not on the board. If the mainboard proximity is failing, that could be your issue. Have you tried the board in a known good housing by chance?
