820-00165 wont start

very small water damage was on R8156, i replaced the resistor

before it was taking 0.1A on 16V now it take 0.02A which is normal but it wont start, i have green light on charger, 3.4V ok, i have 8.58V, 3.3V on L7560

u1950 was bit corroded, so i replaced it, and q8150 also, than u7501

same , i just takes 0.02A on 16V, green light ok

Try first to start in SMC bypass mode.

Do you get PM_SLP_SUS_L and 3V3_SUS?
What about PM_RSMRST_L, PM_PWRBTN_L, PM_BATLOW_L?
Check if all 4 RTC signals are good.

i replaced u8130 cause there was only 0v7 on pin 6, after replacement its still only 3v1

then actually the board turned on, but only with disconnected audio cable

tried different side board and new audio cable same

it was turning on without the audio cable with picture, proeprly

then suddenly the main 3V3 went out, now takes 0.120A on 16V and the u7501 gets warm, replaced it, same

dunno, maybe the cpu is dying?


what can cause an AIR not to turn on when audio cable is connected?

That "audio cable" (LIO flex) has a lot of connections, including some power rails , SMC_LID, SYS_ONEWIRE, USB.
Be sure to use proper LIO flex/board for your machine.
Also use Magsafe 2 charger; do NOT use 1-->2 adapter.

Posta again basic voltages and signals w/o LIO flex connected.
You must get it working w/o the flex and then deal with LIO issue...
