820-2530 Battery is not charging.

HI all.

This is not a liquid dmg board. How ever battery ia not charging.

PPBUS_G3H is 8v when power connected. WHen battery connected it is 12.6v
it runs from the battery and can see the battery indicator charging but it is not.

I tried to get 12.6V on ppbus replacing both sides current sensing resistors,U 7000 , Q7020 and Q7021 no change.

pp3v3_s5 is fine.

Any clue?

Also on c7025 pin 1 in 12.6V pin 2 is 8V.

Hi What I found Charger Bgate in C7026 is high 8v. Q7050 Gate close as source and the gate same voltage 8v.
I replaced C7026 and Q7050 still no luck

Are you really sure is not viceversa?

Did you try known good battery?
Did you solder correct ISL6258 there (not ISL6259)?

Be sure to have correct value for R7021/23 and R 7031/47.
Post exact voltage for CHGR_A/BMON.

Solved. my stupid mistake. I have been using ISL 6259 chips. Replaced with 6258 solved.
