820-00165a no green light

Come with busted lvds connector, so I just remove it first, no green light, I already used known good i/o flex and dc in connector
ppbus 8.6v
pp3v42_g3h 3.4v
smc_reset_l 3.4v
ppvcc_s0_cpu is shorted ( or its resistance is just so low, so the multimere beep ? no clue here )
even its shorted, do shorted ppvcc matter with me not having green light or not ?

Be aware DMMs beep until 0.060-0.075, depending of model.
You probably get around 010-020, which is not short.

The two chips for SYS_ONEWIRE from LIO board are very easy to locate.
Check SYS_ONEWIRE level and continuity.
Inspect LIO connector from MLB; ussually 3V42, or SYS_ONEWIRE pins get corroded.

j9500 looks clean, Im sorry I don understand which two chips you mean..
how do I check the continuity of sys_one wire ? probe pin 19 of j9500 to the smc ?

looks like all clean, so I suspect the smc, give it a reball, and I got orange light now, but still doesnt turn on
no pp5v_s4rs3

"when i plug inthe magsafe, it become shorted"
I bet you measured diode mode (or ohm scale) with power aapplied.
Do NOT do that again!

Missing PM_SLP_S4L too?
Do you get 3V3_SUS?
Check if board starts without LIO flex connected.
Also try to start in SMC bypass mode.
Post S5_PWRGD, PM_BATLOW_L, PM_RSMRST_L, PM_DSW_PWRGD, PCH_DSWVRMEN.
Check all (4) RTC signals.
Trigger SMC_ONOFF_L (use R5115/16 pads) and check for drop pulse at PM_PWRBTN_L at same time.

yeah I have 3v3_sus
I cannot reset smc,, ( the orange light doesnt change to green)
board doesnt turn on with LIO flex
s5_pwrgd = 3.28v
PM_batlow_L = 3.3v
PM_RSMRST_L = 3.08v
PM_DSW_PWRGD =3.4V
PCH_DSWVRMEN = 0V
ppvrtc_G3h = 3.3v
sorry I don undertsand 4 rtc signal..
when I trigger smc_on_off_l , pm_pwr_btn_l drop from 3.3 to 0.3 v

so, resistance is 160k, I change it, I got 203k, still too low I think ? schematic say it should be 330k
I got a question, when changing component such as resistor and caps, should I go for the same size from donor board or I must use the Same specification component ?

Force R1450 with 100k, instead of 330k.
If still low, bad PCH...

Just in case, you can still try to heat it with good flux.

Did change something on its behaviour?

"sorry I don undertsand 4 rtc signal"
RTC_RESET_L, PCH_SRTCRST_L, PCH_INTVRMEN, PCH_INTRUDER_L; seems to be exactly 4...

RTC_RESET_L = 3.28V
PCH)SRTCRST_L = 3.28V
PCH_INTVRMEN = 2.73V..
PCH_INTRUDER_L = 1.97V
no change on behaviour.. still dedd

while probing for measurement, the board suddenly powered up with max fan spin but i don't know what trigger it to turn on -.-

the r1301 is already 200 to begin with, so I change it to 100, and I have 3.3v at PCH_INTRUDER_L
i change r1302 to 10k too, now I have 3.3v too at PCH_INTVRMEN,

time to move to other power rail ?
