820-00928-A (only works while battery is disconnected) I get fan spin!

Wow this one is weird.

With battery connected the machine will power on but will not display a image.
I get 20v on the charger, It charges the battery. I get fan spin. but in no way will it boot up or display any image.
This is the same situation with the charger connected or not.

With the battery disconnected boots just fine off the charger.

Did you try another battery?

Baffin2 schematic is reffered as good for this board.

Do you get USB activity when battery connected?

I changed the battery. "That was fun"
same problem. So it is not the battery.

I do get USB activity. My SSD gets a blinking blue light. after a few seconds that does go out. The touch bar never lights up so I know it is not booting.

I am totally stumped on this one. I am going to bail on it.
