Hello mate,

We have Macbook Air (A1370) with issue of 3 times beeping and NO display, so there may be the problems ether CPU or RAM.
Once we would like to use the hot air, it looked it cannot move the IC (RAM).

What I used the hot gun station is Youneng 858 or Quick 861DW, like the 350 degree in temperature. Could you guide us if its the right one or now?
OR maybe what I used the tool is a wrong one.

The link I found out is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rTU0bLZROE

Thanks heaps for guidance.

350 degrees looks to low for me; better to try 410-430.
Also air flow must be adjusted.
Practice on scrap boards, untill get the correct setting.

Thanks mate, for your advice.

However, I tried 450 degree as well, but it looks the IC still not move.

So I dont know why for that, maybe wrong tools?

Wrong settings for sure.
You must preheat around the chips, larger area.
And of course remove the CPU heatsink.
Using a bottom preheater, like Mlink 853A, is very helpfull option.
Also use quality flux...

Thanks for direction.

What I would like to fix is RAM IC, not CPU. I will see the 853A, and how it goes.
