  • 820-3024 no S5

    Liquid damage mainly around LCD circuit. Has been worked on at some point in the past.

    BIOS chip looks well toasted.
    Bodge wire on U7100 pin 7 VCCSAS0_SREF connecting to C7103 & R7147

    PPBUS_G3H = ok
    3V342 = ok

    No S5 rails and no S5 enables, no pulsing at all and can't find a short.

      And I just seen the schematic says 12.8 for this rail.

      PPBUS_G3H = 8V2
      PP3V42 = 3V4
      SMC_PM_G2_EN nothing
      Green light yes

        It should be 8.6V. SMC has no data connection to the battery/ISL6259. Could be corrosion under SMC or dead SMC.
