3115 boots half way then resets

3115, no liquid damage, boots just over half way, then resets about 3 times in a row, then tries resetting again. Any clue? SMC?

i had the same problem on my macbook. have you tried to change ram? it works for me

No but when I mess with them (change position, take one out etc.) it changes how fast it boots and resets. Will try.

Sure as shit. Had to take out ram from my wife's computer to test. Apparently all my spare RAM is bad. I did not think this to be possible.
