  • [SOLVED]820-3536 thermal sensor issues

I have this 820-3536 here that boots and runs with the fan on high, it kinda runs a little slow. when i run asd 3s162 it come back with 3 errors( see pics). i checked around to see if i could find liquid damage but nothing obvious.

I'm thinking it has an issue in the pch or smc. not really sure where to start on this.

1st fail- smc : 0x0 test1-The smc reports an error on one or more critical sensors
2nd fail- sensor group (test 5) - limit with core load test Error- - 13005 [the smc can not read this sensor]
3rd fail- thermal interface- processor Error -- 8 [plimit not as expected]

ive already repasted the the processor.

EFI ASD will give a real result. 3S162 returns jibberish in OS mode.

thats good to know luis thanks. So it looks like it fails for falmwrest sensor on asd efi test. Is there anyway to replace this with out replacing the whole case? or where the hell this sensor is located at?

Well i decided to use my brain and googled the palm wrest sensor and came to discover that changing the track pad seemed to fix all the issues i was having besides being a noob. Thanks for the help guys.
