Hello Everybody

Working on no video problem macbook pro 17" 2011 ( I know apple extended guaranty for video issue but no video is out off warranty rules)

Machine turn power on
I can here star dong sound
Mac OS loading and i can up and down volume
No video build in LCD and external display
Tested known good LCD and data cable ( checked L9000 but 0v and no LCD_PWR_EN )
GPU is warming normally
I heat around 200C to GPU with using bga machine nothing changed

I can reball ATI but its not working too long , When i changed chips (seller says absolutely new but generally refurbished) its create problem in 3-4 months ..


What is yours suggestions ? Can you find good chips anywhere?

No video is not out of warranty rules...as long as the board/machine fails their diagnostics, it gets replaced. I've had several 2914's replaced and at least 2 of them had no video at all on the LCD.

Did you try external LCD with the internal one disconnected?
If there is no video then I would take it to Apple first and see if they will accept it.
