Regarding warranty, how flexible / rigid you are ?

I am curious, if you repair board and give it like 3 months of warranty, if they come back at 4th month, do you guys "help" them, I mean like doing free repair out of pity or straight out saying it will cost another hundred dollar of repair ?
in my case, Im not repairing someone's board, but I sold a 820-3209-a and they come back at 4th month, saying that the mac doesnt turn on, honestly I am a bit clueless if its the customer's fault or my board is on the verge of breaking, but manage to work fine until they bought it

It really depends on the customer. If they are a nice person, I try to go out of my way to help them unless it's something I truly cannot cover under warranty. If the customer is a jackoff, they are out of warranty and pay again 2 minutes after the warranty expires :)
