I have 3 hakko FR-830 used, the bad thing is i'm on México...

I have a PUHUI T8280. You can get it for less than €100 on ebay/alibaba. It heats up fine, but securing PCB's onto it requires some creativity as those rails don't get fastened properly on their own.

The FR-830 is too small for me.. I use them mostly for BGA rework. I successfully used a LCD separator machine as pre heater to replace graphics chips until it died..


The PUHUI looks big enough for my stuff. I'll buy one on aliexpress. Thank you
