That is an amazing microscope. However, keep in mind, those USB cameras are freebies and total pieces of shit.

To give you an idea a rawvideo feed out of my camera(which costs more than that microscope/camera combined) is 250 MBps, megabytes!! USB 2 spec is somewhere around 50-60 MBps, with real world around 37 MBps.. imagine how much it is raping that feed to get anything through.

This is the camera I use. It cost about $799 when I bought it. http://www.microscope.com/productinf...ams?id=2736%20

The closest thing I can find now is this which seems newer, a little cheaper, not sure if the quality is as good. http://www.microscope.com/omano-ocs-...pe-camera.html

I use HDMI out for 60 FPS 1080p - NOT USB! My model doesn't even have a USB option, the new one does.

You also have to fix the exposure to see anything. I open the menu and click AE, auto exposure, and it will adjust it until I can see everything properly.

Why do I see so many posts with people getting cameras? Are all of you guys trying to make youtube videos?!

Thanks Louis I have a nikon d7000 dslr witch I'm not using.
I found this http://www.amscope.com/canon-nikon-a...croscopes.html
The problem with amscope is that they don't answer my emails. I sent a email a month ago nothing back. I sent another one a week ago nothing back. Is the adapter worth?
RavetcoFX I want a camera because I want to buy a big ass monitor and I want to see if I'm able to work without looking into microscope.

Let me save you the money and say that sucks. Microscope is 10x better than working off a screen.
