Yes. From the beginning there was no R6102 because it was burned away together with the trace to C6100. So I replaced R6102 and C6100 and made a trace with battery wire between them. R6102 measures 99.8KΩ and continuity to C6100 and U6100/p7,8 is ok. I've got 3.3V on R6102/pin1 and 3.0V on pin2
I have this 820-3437.
Liquid damage around SPI U6100. Burned trace between R6110/p2 and R6120/p1 fixed. Burned trace between R6102/p1 and C6100/p1 fixed. R6102 was replaced.
The fan is spinning but does not make the usual three times cycle. It starts spinning for 6-8 seconds. Then stops. Then...
Hi. I got one more MacBook Pro 15 Late 2013 which shuts down intermittently again.
It has exact same symptoms when shutting down as this one: https://www.rossmanngroup.com/boards/forum/board-repair-troubleshooting/7110-820-3662-intermittent-shut-down
Can work for long time (several hours) or...
Hi. I got this iPhone 5S in for data recovery. I can not kick it out of DFU mode. I normally don't fix phones so I really need a hint here. After searching Google I tried keeping both buttons pushed in and tried some software tools (Recboot, Reiboot, Wondershare, Mobisaver). None of them works...
No it was not messed with. I was the first one opening this for sure. Serial # is correct. Customer told me he left it by an open window and it rained onto it for a little while. After this he could not turn it on and brought it to me.
Inspected very closely for corrosion. Did not find anything. Looks perfect. UC'ed it. Put the MLB in another fully working machine.
Battery still draining in "sleep-mode"
I lost against this one :-(
Thanks. Not trying to argue. Was just surprised it could even start without it.
I will check another display and if lines disappear I think I will dump this one as the customer most likely will not pay for both new display and new battery and the motherboard repair.
Thanks again Duke.
Ok. But it boots and run fine without the U7320. Vcore is 1.78V and stable. Then what makes this chip so VERY important? Is this vcore a little too low? Schematics says it should be 1.85V. Just curious...
Hi.
I got this one in with a good amount of coffee inside. I UC it but it did still not turn on.
Found a short in the U7320 (PHASE 2 / CPU VR12.5 VCC Power Stage). I removed the chip and computer now boots without it. Battery does not charge but it is because of the battery itself is damaged...
