It's not starting. It was trying to start at one point where it chimed but then rebooted. New chime. Reboot. This happened faster and faster so that the chime became half chime. Something like:
Chime.....

I stopped it and took out spi and read the data from it. Data looked...
Board is 820-3476
R6101 and R6103 resistors connected to PP3V3_SUS are getting dragged down somehow. I cannot figure out why. When they er mounted to the board they measure R6101: 0,8K instead of 3,3K and R6103: 1K instead of 100K. When I pull them readings are correct according to schematics...
Thanks. I have already got a lot of scrap boards but only two of them had LED driver chip still on. Then I used one of them and tested the broken board with my testing screen and backlight came up. Then I put machine back together. In the rush I did not check for shorts after putting back...
Does Louis got these: LP8549B1SP-03 and LP8548B1SQ-03?
Or anyone can recommend where to buy them? Only found them at L2 and Ali (from suppliers I do not know).
Thanks. I checked and you're right. I just removed pin 8 and 9 from the ALS connector and now machine runs fine. Only light sensor capability missing but the customer doesn't care about that. Thanks again.
After wasting time to figure this out I thought I would share. It's a MBA13 - 820-3437. I had 4 sensors failing: "CPU Proximity", "Charger Proximity", "S2 Camera Proximity" and "Input Air Flow". Machine running slow with full speed fan. I wasted time checking all these sensors just to find out...
Thanks for replying. No visible corrosion and SSD looking brand new after cleaning. I already checked resistors and all of them seem fine when comparing to a working board of same type. NANDs are cool but the flash controller chip is rapidly getting over 60°C (140°F) as soon as I power up the...
Hi Guys
I've got in a Retina MacBook Pro 13 year 2015 which was liquid damaged by a beer.
It was completely dead and after ultrasonic cleaning it starts up but the SSD does not show up. I then switch to another SSD and it is working.
My question is, do you have any ideas to revive the SSD...
