Flir one works good for me and it's about 10mm difference but you can use to it .
Tools are the same as for Macbook.
Hakko is my favourite brand (FM-203 +mini hot tweezers) and another soldering iron fx-888 with bent tip
Heat gun FR-810 , Amscope miscroscope but my one is binocular maybe later...
Flir has 2 cameras - one thermal and second you'll see a sketch. They don't really match each other from short distance but you can recognise which part is short.
To make sure just pour IPA in that area but it's not necessary.
I'm very pleased.
For me,it's always worth as I'm doing it as a hobby.
I don't clean a board at the beginning but after an inspection.
First visually inspection, try poke corroded components and check if they come off.
Then remember most bad looking places - may be useful hint for later.
Check battery connector...
Depend what you are asking for.
I don't know a lot about Macbooks but I do phone repairs as a hobby so I'll try help if I can.
About blue screen I found also few other components on ZXW
they are not in any order, but like I said BS lines and U2...
I've decided to write to you as I think you have the same problem what me,or I'm in wrong...
