Better is made by high quality transducers that actually perform at rating. Additionally, the sweeping feature is key. Not all models have this and many that claim full sweep at cheap prices dont actually have or if they do its not tuned well.
Quality = precision = high price... I buy cheap...
anyone happen to have an i747 (att S3) schematic? doing data recovery on a dead board and all I have is the the 9300 repair guide which is a different layout.
Electron-parts.com usually has a few. Their focus has gone more towards cell repair equipment, so not sure if theyll have what you need.
Recommemdation. Make a list of things you want to find then once or twice a month troll alibaba and aliexpress to find. I have lost many a nights of sleep...
One more note... Off topic... My friend got married and i used 300LSE to adhere condoms to his 350Z for the ride-away. NOT sure if were still friends, but his bitching the next morning was epic. ;)
J/k... were still friends.
1 other note... If youve already removed part and just have residue then use a plastic razor blade to clean up, or if its on durable parts use a hot knife to scrap.
Heat+ipa+plastic razor blade
Theres red tape which comes off easier... But 300LSE is my jam.
The trick to removing is heat and isopropyl. If working with a large object that is fragile then i can offer 2 suggestions
1) use a syringe with ipa inside to inject ipa into need areas
2) keep a small jar of ipa nearby and dab...
I just like a clean board. Plus... The flux may be non-conductive and safe to leave behind, but the particles that may become stuck to it might not. Call me paranoid.
Can it be substituted with a customized crimping of dupont connectors in a stack?
It may even just be a form factor of dupont connectors with locking tang.
Just a thought
If they are built with the standard carbon filter sheet then i highly doubt so. This is definitely concerning as i have found no fume extractor manufacturers for the small to midsize market that provide imperical data on their fume extractors performance and capability to filter/trap hazardous...
We do the same. Accessories in cables is by far the most profitable.
For higher-end items like ext-hd we keep small stock levels and charge a slightly higher premium than box stores.
One other good item we have found sells well is the micro tool kits we use for device repair. The 30-40...
As for the smart tweezers, i dont know. However i do have tweezer probes for my multimeter as there are many occasions where i find these useful as its just easier to hit both sides of smd components.

I bought mine on aliexpress a long time ago. Took...
I though I responded to this previously, but guess it didn't take.
If you want to be certain that your getting a good connection you can pull the smd off board and solder leads to contact points. then attach probes to leads. However, most techs will say that if you part in question requires...
No worries. Whenever you have time. However, it may be the perfect way to vent. Slap a pic of your competitor and/or PIA-customer-of-the-year on the side, the break out the power tools and whack the shit out of it til you reveal it insides. ?

I also used a creative finance solution for my first bulk equipment purchase. As Louis said, standard bank methods dont work, not without a proven model which means joining a franchise.
I dont mind sharing my method, but since it operates in the grey (loophole) of their funding terms and i...
One other item. larossmann . If you or a staff member has time one day, can you do a tear-down on the main filter for the Hakko fume extractor; only after the filter is used up of coarse.
Specifically, Im interested in figuring out where they filter fumes. Pictures on Hakko site only show...
yes. you are correct. I mentioned that in my above post. This is your prefilter. However, a prefilter does not need to be hepa, but the finer the filtration the longer the carbon filter. will last.
Further research has shined light on pitfalls of using most commercially implemented carbon...
Just saw your post in 'a little bit of water damage'
For that deep of rust... Try using "PB Blaster" to break down rust on screws. Spray on screws and let site a couple of hours, then spray again. After 2nd spray, tap all screws to help blaster fluid penetrate. Then try screw again using...
If the are stripped beyond use... Even with rubber ballon. Then attack depends on phone and which screw. What phone and which screw(s). Can you upload a pic.
Also, i like to use rubber bands instead of ballons. Probably just because im more likely to have rubberbands laying around.
I dont think anyone will argue that its a good solution for the customer, but if youre a cheap dumbass and tell the repair shop that u dont want to pay for the right fix as long as it works right now for less cost... and as a repair company you want to provide that service to customers that are...
Heat + isopropyl in a a syringe to weaken bond. Ive found the i can be very precise with solvents when applied using surgical needle. Helps to prevent over saturation in areas i dont want
