tried another assembly still no backlight

just did same thing

I have an another 820-3437 with no backlight, but I have 40V one side of D7701 and 8.5V on the other. does this mean it is not seeing the screen??

I was wrong, there is a image, it is no backlight, comes on when computer starts with apple, goes off when user screen comes up.

I have a 820-3437 when I open lid, display turns on for a second then off. If I push power button the display turns on for a second then off??

WORKING!! Looked for corrosion around SPI, none, but found some around U5110! Replaced U5110 and ran a trace from pin 1 to C5120 and working! Thank you aprendiz for your prompt reply and help. Much appreciated!!

I have a 820-3476, has a green light, fan spins for 2-3 seconds then immediately shuts down. No visible water damage, Any ideas??

I replaced the BIOS chip on 820-3662 due to computer getting stuck on Apple Logo. ASD was failing system Management Engine test. Now computer boots to user screen, but after password is entered the user will load halfway??? I run ASD again and it still is failing?? Any ideas??
