820-00244 turns on but screen shows noise looking colors and freezes

You can try as 2informaticos suggested or try reflowing/reballing the CPU. This will only be for data not long term use, but some have had success

    A1398 820-3662-a Not charging

Yes has to come from 3662 board

820-00244 turns on but screen shows noise looking colors and freezes

Dead CPU like every other 12? lol. It?s unfortunate but true

    820-00165 Shorted PP3V3

Pull every component on PP3v3_SUS besides the CPU. If still shorted then RIP

    Surface 3 Laptop repair?

Not sure but definitely going to look into it. The older ones are garbage would not even bother

    820-00165 Shorted PP3V3

If PP3v3_SUS and PP1v05 are shorted, likely CPU issue both are connected to the CPU. PP1V05S0_AGND is GND btw, so that rail doesn't matter lol.

820-00165 not coming on, green light

Look at the schematic and tell us WHY those pins are important. Hint, they both should be low resistance

    820-00138 question about the U7310

If it is shorted, it would be smart to inject voltage just start low around 1 volt. Many many components on the C7592 side. If it's the PCH, it will be obvious.

    It?s a 12? MacBook. That?s all the confirmation I need

    Hopefully it's something simple!

    820-00138 question about the U7310

Ok so you have a short on PP3v3_S5. Just making sure, the die on U1100 is ok? You have a short for sure on PP3v3_S5, so you will need to inject voltage into that line to find it. Start voltage low around 1 volt and slowly increase to 3.3 if necessary.

    820-3023 random crashing

You can run Unigine Valley test to try and replicate the issues. Most of time, 3 beeps on these older 2011 boards ends up being a PCH or internal trace issue, so RAM reflow is not always a for sure fix on them like newer ones.

    820-00138 question about the U7310

Ok so looks like PP3v3_S5 issue. Resistance to ground on that line? Measure in ohms mode not diode mode.

    820-3023 random crashing

Probably a PCH or CPU issue if RAM reflow didn't hold up. Total time waster.

    820-00165 no power

Sounds like bad SMC to me. JTAG removed?

    820-00138 question about the U7310

PP3v3_S5 0V. That is a problem. Post voltage on C7505. If 5 volts, troubleshoot the 3v3_S5 issue. If 0 volts, post voltage for SMC_PM_G2_EN

820-2914 no green light on the charger.

Just being honest, this will have a dead GPU afterwards, so you will have to bypass it...

    820-00138 question about the U7310

    Post voltage for the following: PPBUS_G3H PPVRTC_G3H PP5v_S5 PP3v3_S5 PM_BATLOW_L PP3v3_SUS PP5v_S4

    820-00138 question about the U7310

U7310 is likely fine. Are you using a KNOWN GOOD OEM 85 watt Magsafe 2 charger? Tried with all peripherals disconnected?

    Macbook 12 (820-00244)

CPU doesn't have to get hot to be dead. CPU fails on this model at alarming rates anyways, so it's prob a lost cause
