    It?s a 12? MacBook. That?s all the confirmation you need... If customer needs data, try reflowing or reballing the CPU. If they don?t need data, throw it in the trash

    Probably dead CPU like every other 12" MacBook. If customer needs data, reflow/reball CPU is a good option. If no data needed, then trash.

    Sounds like an SMC_LID issue to me...tried known good DC-in board and flex? How do the pins on the trackpad connector and J9500 look? Any chance of corrosion near SMC?

    I?ve seen PP3V42 being messed up cause that chip to get super hot. Corrosion near 3v42 regulator?

    Could be bad driver. Also make sure SMC_LID isn?t getting messed up by a corroded DC-in board/ cable
