Check for voltage to RAM as mentioned. If voltage is present, reflow RAM and pray. If RAM doesn't fix it, bad CPU, bad internal trace etc and waste of time.
If no liquid, shorts, or drop damage...usually a waste of time. Have to look very closely for corrosion or any hints. Also have to have PP3v42, PPBUS, PPVRTC_G3H, PP5v_S5, PP3v3_S5, PM_BATLOW_L all present before saying missing PM_SLP_S4_L is the problem. I always check those specific rails...
You bridged something more than likely which shorted Q8930 and likely killed theGPU. You must replace all fets and U8900 when something like that happens on the off chance it survives.
I would tell the customer to wait and order one if you can. That seems like the issue most likely. Not really a WiFi power circuit on these like on MacBook Airs. Usually, bad I/O Board is the issue.
