820-00045 no input/output devices found and not recognizing headphone

I purchased this used board from ebay and everything else is functioning besides the sound. It is not recognizing any input/output devices and even when I plug in headphones nothing happens.

I'm not sure where to measure on the logic board so I can see if this is something I can fix.

I don't have another audio board for this model but shouldn't the speakers still work fine even if the audio board is not plugged in?
I thought the audio board is only for headphones and the microphone.

I see digital audio signals on J6799, so audio codec is on the RIO board...

Okay I ordered another RIO Board and flex cable.
So if that cable and RIO Board is not plugged in no sound will work on these Macbooks? I thought the speakers would work independently.

Like in the previous Airs, audio codec is not on the MLB...
