820-00165 PP5VS4RSE_EN_R short

Have a a 820-000165 that had mild liquid damage on U7501 specifically only on pins 12-16. Replaced U5701 but no change. Noticed there is a 0.003 short on P5VS4RSE_EN_R. When R7551 is removed the short is gone.... 5v is at pin 4. As soon as R7551 is back the short returns. Tried running jumper from P5VS4RS3_EN to pin 4 but short returns.

What to try next?

PPBUS_G3H 8.60V
PP5V_S5 5V

If you detect a short on pin 2 of R7551, which is 0 ohm, how can the short disappear if you change 0 ohm resistor with a wire (0 ohm resistance too)???
Please put a bit of logic when you work...

Remove C8175 and check again.

Narrowed problem to short on PM_SLP_S4_L When R8179 is removed with the other resistors are on board short on P5VS4RSE_EN_R is gone but PM_SLP_S4_L shorted.

Should voltage be injected to PM_SLP_S4_L now?

There are few chips (apart PCH) connected.
Start removing one by one, U3510 and U4810.
If still low, bad PCH...
