Hi,

this macbook came in as dead. i unplugged battery and it boots with charger, but i'm getting critical error, unplugged all everything except for the LCD and still getting same error but able to boot into safe mode.
upon motherboard inspection, saw caps resisters around the T1 area is corroded, not serious but end caps are black and no deposits. didn't try to touch or clean up the area.
found C4220 shorted and removed.

now macbook does not boot. i get cpu vcore 1.07V and no response further from that.

Recheck the job did on the board.
Probably damaged traces, bad solders, knocked off components.

Remember to test first disconnecting LCD, next time with same critical error.
