820-00928 power on with charger wire power button not responding
Will turn on with charger and battery connected, will run off battery or charger it charges battery however when press power button it will not shut off i tried different button

SMC_ONOFF_L drops when you press power button?

Check U5255 I/O signals, when you close/open the lid.

What about SMC_LID_LEFT/RIGHT signals?
Just one high is good enough for U5255, but SMC receives the 3 signals.
If SMC_ONOFF_L stays low 4s, SMC should turn off the machine.
